Philippe Gaillard and Fran\u00e7ois Gilbert are opinion leaders, wine tasters and critics. They created the Gilbert & Gaillard brand and namesake Guides, but also publish an internationally renowned magazine. Their countless journeys around the world have given them unique insight into winegrowing from every aspect and under every latitude \u2013 from South Africa to California via Italy, the Iberian Peninsula and Eastern Europe. With a PhD and higher teaching diploma in geography, Fran\u00e7ois Gilbert specialised in studying vineyard sites very early on in his career. After spending ten years in the Middle East, Caroline joined the Gilbert & Gaillard team in 2019, bringing her experience, both of international issues and gastronomy, to the company.
